What Is This Game?

This game was simply to see what I can do with GB studios.  Right now the game is in it's beta phase (I guess you could say it is a very early access game), so if you find any bugs, glitches or any other problems feel free to point them out in the comments.

I wanted to make a simple game that was like a mix of a 2D platformer with some rpg elements like the Mario and Luigi series or Super Mario rpg. I also wanted to do something similar to Hades, that is if you die you start from the very beginning but you can get through the game faster the more you upgrade.

I am not an artist. Because I am working on a budget of basically zero dollars I made all the sprites, animations, and backgrounds by myself.
